Methodology
Our Method
Fewer meetings.
More work that matters.
It is not simply about having fewer meetings. It is about understanding which ones create value, which ones do not, and how to improve the way teams meet, decide and work.
Meetings are not the problem.
The problem is meetings that consume time without creating enough value.
A data-driven methodology
First we understand.
Then we change.
Overloaded calendars, back-to-back meetings, too many attendees, excessive duration, poor preparation or meetings that end without a clear decision. Meetingitis takes different forms in every organization.
That is why we do not start with opinions or universal rules. We analyse how teams actually work, measure the cost and time devoted to meetings, and identify where working capacity is being lost.
Based on that evidence, we design a more efficient meeting model: less time spent on unnecessary coordination and more capacity to decide, execute and do valuable work.
to a new meeting model
The Meetingitis Method
Five phases to transform how an organization meets.
From initial diagnosis to impact measurement. A journey designed to turn meeting data into concrete changes in behaviour and ways of working.
Diagnose
Understand where we are.
We analyse calendars, meeting types, attendees, duration, frequency and purpose. We combine quantitative data with interviews and the real experience of teams.
Outcome: a clear map of where Meetingitis exists across the organization and where the greatest opportunities for improvement lie.
Measure
Put a price on time.
Not all meetings cost the same. We measure time, frequency, number and profile of attendees and estimate meeting costs to identify the largest areas of inefficiency.
Unnecessary meetings, too many attendees, excessive duration, poor preparation or meetings without a clear decision stop being perceptions and become manageable information.
Outcome: a baseline that quantifies the starting point and makes it possible to measure the impact of the transformation.
Redesign
Change how we meet.
Together with teams, we design a meeting model adapted to their reality: which meetings to keep, which to eliminate or shorten, who needs to attend and what should happen before, during and after.
We also identify which decisions can be handled asynchronously and which meetings need a different structure to produce better decisions and actions.
Outcome: a meeting system designed to get work done and create value, not to fill calendars.
Change
Turn rules into habits.
A methodology only works if it changes behaviour. We train teams, introduce new practices and tools, and support managers and professionals throughout implementation.
The goal is for better preparation, clearer decisions, action-oriented closing and protected focus time to stop depending on individual initiative.
Outcome: new ways of preparing, running and closing meetings that begin to become everyday working habits.
Monitor
Measure again. Demonstrate impact.
We measure again and compare the starting point with the new way of working. We track changes in time, cost, meeting quality and the ability to turn meetings into decisions and actions.
Because changing a meeting is relatively easy. Making sure the improvement lasts over time requires monitoring.
Outcome: evidence of the impact achieved and a foundation for continuous improvement and scaling the model.
Meeting Intelligence
From measuring meetings to managing their value.
The method turns information about how an organization meets into concrete decisions about how to use time more effectively. We measure what happens, improve how decisions are made and track the impact.
How much time meetings consume, what they cost and how well they are working.
Purposeful meetings, clear decisions and actions with owners and follow-up.
More capacity to work, better use of time and a more efficient organization.
What we want to change
Fewer meetings. More value.
Every organization starts from a different place. That is why impact is measured against its own baseline. The goal is to recover capacity currently absorbed by low-value meetings and return it to work that matters.
Less time wasted
Reduce unnecessary meetings, excessive duration and attendance that adds little value.
More capacity
Recover hours to analyse, create, execute and move forward with work that truly creates value.
More focus
Protect focused work blocks and reduce the fragmentation caused by overloaded calendars.
More quality work
Because fewer meetings do not mean working less. They mean having more time to do better work.
The goal is not to give your teams empty calendars.
The goal is to make sure every meeting has a reason to exist.
From diagnosis to change
12 weeks to change the way you work.
In three months, you can move from not knowing how much time your organization is losing to meetings to having a measured, redesigned and implemented model ready for continuous improvement.
We are not looking to impose more processes. We aim to remove friction, improve meeting quality and give time back to teams.
DIAGNOSE → MEASURE → REDESIGN → CHANGE → MONITOR
